Outreach
We believe in building better communities and in making the world a better place for the future generations. Ulhaas and its members participate in various events and causes to extend material and manpower help to many other communities in the Salt Lake val ley and beyond.
Art
What is life without the gift of colors, lights, lines and curves? We love and encourage creative spirits. Our Durga Puja decoration is a great attraction in Utah. Every year we craft a unique and beautiful housing (mandap) for the Goddess. A number of Ulhaas members - men, women, children - volunteer for months to bring a set of artistic ideas into reality.

The spell of the music, the magic of the performing arts, the magnetism of the drama - they take us to another world of beauty and imagination. Ulhaas and its members host and participate in various types of cultural events throughout the year. We nurture an environment and provide a platform where everyone is encouraged to enjoy and demonstrate music, dance, drama, and many other artistic talents.
Food
Oh, the aroma, the sight, the taste and the feeling! Food is very much an integral part of our community events. As a Bengali community we love food and proudly serve delicious refreshments to our members and visitors at our events. We also participate in multiple food events of different cultures in Utah and serve dishes of assorted flavors from diverse Indian cuisines.
